• Management of the German and European (F, I, E, UK) Westlake business areas

• National and international projects

• Legal review, revision, and negotiation of commercial contracts in the area of ​​sales (contracts with customers, discount and quality agreements) as well as for the area of ​​purchasing and general terms and conditions in different jurisdictions

• Advising the specialist departments on distribution antitrust law, insurance law, and transport law

• Conducting judicial processes and handling judicial and extrajudicial claims

You’ll blend in with us easily if you:

• have a successfully completed law degree (at least satisfactory exams) and several years (>3 years) of professional experience in a law firm or international corporate environment

• proven focus in the areas of distribution and contract law; having additional specializations such as litigation, knowledge of insurance and/or transport law would be an advantage

• Very good written and spoken German and English skills; like to award longer experience abroad or LL.M

2. Senior Legal Counsel Corporate Law / M&A

The Senior Legal Counsel of Corporate Law / M&A is a key role within a company’s legal department. This position is responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on a variety of corporate law and M&A matters. The Senior Legal Counsel is expected to have extensive experience in negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, conducting due diligence, and managing M&A transactions. 

They are also responsible for advising senior management and business leaders on legal risks and compliance matters. A law degree and significant experience in corporate law and M&A are required.

As Legal Counsel, you will work in the Corporate Law / M&A team within the Group Legal Department and, together with your colleagues, will provide legal advice and support for all M&A transactions and corporate law issues for the entire ProSiebenSat.1 Group.

In this role, you live our hybrid model “Traveller”. You will be on-site on fixed days of the week, on the other days you can work remotely.

• You will take on the legal support of national and international M&A transactions of companies in the ProSiebenSat.1 Group

• You provide comprehensive advice on corporate and capital market law issues

• You design, draft and independently negotiate contracts in the area of ​​mergers and acquisitions (e.g. so-called media for equity contracts), also in an international environment

• You will work closely with internal operational units and management

• You control and coordinate internal and external coordination processes and actively support the transfer of know-how, both within the team and between the various areas of the corporate legal department

• You bring above-average exams and professional experience in a renowned law firm or a corporate legal department with a focus on M&A/corporate law

• You have a strong understanding of business relationships and complex issues as well as the entrepreneurial spirit
